Roundabout Books’ 9th annual Local Authors Night, Friday, Jan. 24 (I’ll be there!)
Roundabout Books in Northwest Crossing does a great job hosting various author events as well as book club meetings, storytimes, and more, and this Friday, January 24, the store’s annual Local Authors Night returns with an evening showcase of five local authors—myself being one of them for my book, Bend Beer.
We look forward to our 9th Local Authors Night at Roundabout Books! Join us for a wonderful panel of five Oregon-based authors and their incredibly diverse books. Each author will speak for approximately 15 minutes and then available for questions and signing at the end of the event.
The event takes place from 6:00 to 8:00pm and will feature the following authors:
- Cody Luff (Ration)
- Jeremiah Franklin (Dark of the Tomorrow II: Cult of the Crow)
- Avery Bell (Harvey Havoc: The Future of Havoc)
- Glenn Voelz (War Under the Mango Tree)
- Jon Abernathy (Bend Beer: A History of Brewing in Central Oregon)
I’ll be talking about my book, local (beer) history, and probably dig into some Prohibition history because this year marks the 100th anniversary of the start of Prohibition on the national level.
