Celebrate Learn to Homebrew Day with Central Oregon Homebrewers on Saturday, November 2
This Saturday, November 2, the Central Oregon Homebrewers Organization (COHO) is hosting Learn to Homebrew Day with a free-to-attend event in the Old Mill District. Here’s a snippet from the press release:
The celebration, which is free and open to the public, will be held in the Old Mill District’s Center Plaza from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Learn to Homebrew Day is an opportunity for homebrewers to draft their non-brewer friends and families to learn how to make their own beer. Hundreds of fun, educational events are held at homes, breweries, shops and clubs worldwide.
COHO invites anyone interested in beer and homebrewing to stop by the Old Mill District starting at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 2, 2019 to join the fun and learn the process behind making beer at home.
“Since 1999, we have celebrated and shared our passion for one of the most rewarding hobbies of all time—homebrewing,” said Gary Glass, director, American Homebrewers Association. “We invite you to stop by this event to give brewing a try and join in raising a glass with your local community of homebrewers.”
Disclaimer: I’m also a member and current president of COHO, and I’ll be there at least the first part of the day.
If you’re interesting in beer and brewing, we’ll have several homebrew systems set up with folks actually brewing beer on them—the best live demo you could ask for! Plus for 21-and-over there will be an opportunity to sample homebrew, and just learn about the club and how you can get started brewing beer at home.
The Old Mill District has graciously agreed to host us and COHO will be set up in the Central Plaza. Come on down, it’s going to be a great day!
