The annual Bend Oktoberfest returns to downtown Bend this weekend, Friday the 16th and Saturday the 17th. You know about Oktoberfest—the German-inspired beer and folk festival offering up beer, German food, oompah music, and all sorts of “absurd” games (their word) and fun.

This year everything takes place on Oregon Avenue, music, games, wiener dog races, beer, bouncy houses, etc. Times are 5pm to 10pm Friday, and noon to 10pm Saturday. Prices on beer and wine are here, and overall it is free to attend.

The wiener dog races take place on Saturday from 4 to 5pm (the rest of the schedule is here). Have a wiener dog? Get them registered starting at 3. Oompah music, beer, and wine is throughout.
