Today is the first day of the 10-day beer extravaganza known as Central Oregon Beer Week, which runs through Sunday, May 29 and promises a “week” packed with beer specials, and events you’re not going to want to miss.

Central Oregon Beer Week (COBW) Now in its fifth year Central Oregon Beer Week celebrates the craft beer industry in a terrific week long event. With 28 active breweries, locals and visitors alike can plan on a solid ten days of craft beer bliss in Central Oregon. The Kick Off Celebration will be held at Crow’s Feet Commons, Friday May 20th. This will be the first opportunity for craft beer aficionados to try the Official Beer Week Beer, COBW IWA, brewed by the folks that won last years SMaSH Fest People’s Choice award, and who have most recently been awarded a World Beer Cup Gold, Sunriver Brewing. This year Central Oregon Beer Week will once again feature unique SMaSH (Single Malt and Single Hop) beers prepared by a growing list of Oregon breweries, including Bend Brewing Co, Deschutes Brewery, McMenamins Old St. Francis, Three Creeks Brewing, Sunriver Brewing, Wild Ride Brewing, Worthy Brewing, Ecliptic Brewing, and Fort George Brewing.
