Catch a bus to Mt. Angel Oktoberfest this Saturday
Have you ever been to the Mount Angel Oktoberfest over in the valley? Would you be interested in going? It’s taking place this weekend, and this Saturday the 19th, the Central Oregon Homebrewers Organization has chartered a bus to head over for the day—and there are still some open seats if you’re interested. Here are the details:
This year COHO has reserved a charter bus to take members to this fantastic event. The bus will pick us up at a central location in Bend, and take us directly to the event. It will then pick us up later that evening, and return us back to our original pick up location. The cost for a seat on the charter bus to/from Mount Angel is only $38.
It is approximately a 2 3/4 hour drive to Mount Angel, but luckily there will be a keg of beer on-board! The bus will leave Bend promptly at 8:30am, and return by 10:00pm the same day.
Tickets for entry into the Mount Angel Oktoberfest are currently on sale here for $10. A day’s ticket also includes access to their shuttle bus which runs frequently to the Mount Angel Abbey. With any luck their Benedictine Brewery will be open by then. Check out the brewery information here.
It’s a great deal, and if you’re interested, go to the signup page here and click through to the Paypal form.
