Today is the first day of the 2015 season for the Bend Farmers Market! It takes places in downtown Bend every Wednesday from 3 to 7pm through October 14, and this year they’ve added a new second location that will take place on Fridays from 2 to 6pm from June 19 through August 21—at the north parking lot of Mountain View High, on 27th Street.

Their downtown location is in the Brooks Street alleyway, right behind the Tower Theatre. They have a great list of vendors selling a wide variety of foods and produce and more, which you’ll be hard-pressed to find fresher anywhere else in town.

And as an added bonus, once again this year Worthy Brewing is setting up shop in the Tower Theatre for their “Worthy Wednesday” during the Farmers Market (from 3:30 to 6pm) where you can get free samples of Worthy beer and free popcorn from the Tower—just duck inside the theatre from the Market! They’ll be there most Wednesdays through the summer I believe.
