Girls in STEM Forum
The Oregon Girls Collaborative Project is hosting a forum this Friday on the topic of getting girls involved with more STEM activities. The organizer, Bethany Thramer, says:
Our goal with this forum is to start a conversation and provide resources around increasing quality STEM experiences for girls. We will take time to review strategies for engaging girls and give participants time to discuss how those strategies may be implemented in your community.
The target audience would include current formal and informal STEM educators & instructors, those who interact with girls but do not yet have the capacity to include STEM in a meaningful way, and potential STEM content experts or specialists who do not yet have a connection with girls.
