Local robotics team High Desert Droids will be holding a garage sale fundraiser on Saturday, November 8th, 9am-2:30pm, in the Cafeteria at Mountain View High School. The team’s annual garage sale is a major fundraiser that helps offset funds needed to participate in this challenging program. Currently the team plans to participate in tournaments in Oregon City & Wilsonville, OR and Cheney, WA. Please, come shop with us and help support us!

Donated Items Needed

In preparation for the sale, the team will accept community donations for the sale on Friday, November 7th, 6-9pm. Or, contact Erin Biskup (erinbiskup@yahoo.com) to arrange for a student to pick up items on Thursday, 11/6 or Friday, 11/7 – in the afternoon or evening.

FIRST Team 753 (High Desert Droids) is a student–driven team of bright individuals drawn together by a passion for working as a team, building robots, and fostering excitement in science and technology through FIRST. Formed in 2002, the team is based out of Mountain View High School and is comprised of students from all three Bend high schools and several home schooled students.

The students are grateful for the support of teachers, mentors, parents, and sponsors: Bend Research, Les Schwab Tire Centers, G5 Search Marketing, Microsemi, Manzama, Bend Plating, SimB & Company, PCC Schlosser, and Advanced Energy.
