Fermentation Celebration in the Old Mill
This Thursday, June 19th is the Old Mill District‘s annual Fermentation Celebration, taking place from 4 to 10pm. This 3rd annual event features a “beer walk” around the shopping district where nearly all of Central Oregon’s breweries (plus a few others!) will be pouring beer across ten different stations. Here are the details:
We’ll have many many tasty beers, cider from Atlas Cider and Red Tank and wine from Naked Winery. Entry to the event is $20 and includes a FC glass and 9 tickets for 4 oz. pours at any location. Drink packages will be sold at the Ticket Mill the day of the event.
You can buy your tasting package starting at 10am when the Ticket Mill opens, but you’ll need to return anytime anytime after 4pm to to have your id checked and get a bracelet. Print the Map and Beer List for the event.
Live music from several local bands! Bands include The Rum and The Sea, Wilderness, 2nd Hand Soldiers, Victory Swig, Hilst & Coffee, Summit Express, Juniper & Gin, David Miller and a procession of bagpipes to get things going.
And if you need any additional nudging, the Old Mill asked me to write up some beer recommendations to look out for (I picked nine to start with, to match the number of tickets you initially get with your package).
The weather is looking great for Thursday so don’t miss out!
