The Bend Fall Festival is this weekend
This weekend it’s already time for one of Bend’s big seasonal festivals, the Bend Fall Festival, which is taking over downtown Bend Friday through Sunday, bringing artists, vendors, and a ton of live music (like Summerfest) along with a number of fall-themed activities. The Festival runs from 5 to 11pm on Friday, 11am to 11pm on Saturday, and 11am to 5pm on Sunday, and part of Wall Street, Oregon Avenue and Minnesota Avenue will be closed for the festivities.
As for the unique-to-the-season attractions, they include C.E. Lovejoy’s Harvest Market, a Pumpkin Pie Contest taking place on Saturday, a Family Harvest Area featuring pumpkin decorating, Halloween face painting, children’s costume swap, and more, and a homebrew competition sponsored by Deschutes Brewery taking place on Sunday.

As of right now, the weekend weather forecast is looking pretty good—but of course that can change between now and then. And don’t forget Friday night is also the First Friday Fall Art Hop in downtown Bend! That with the Fall Festival should make for a busy weekend.
