Lunch-n-Learn: What Every Technology Entrepreneur Should Know About Intellectual Property
The Tech Alliance is pleased to announce a special Lunch-n-Learn seminar: “What Every Technology Entrepreneur Should Know About Intellectual Property”. This event will provide an overview of intellectual property law, including practical tips on what technology entrepreneurs can do at an early stage to manage risk and enhance revenues in the future, and will be hosted by Schwab, Williamson, and Wyatt, Attorneys at Law.
Intellectual property is a technology company’s most valuable asset and how a company identifies, evaluates, protects and enforces its intellectual property can make or break a technology start-up. Among the topics to be covered will be:
- An overview of the various forms of intellectual property, including the rights and remedies each provides.
- Developing an intellectual property strategy.
- Commercializing intellectual property through license or sale.
- Enforcing intellectual property through litigation.
