Attention homebrewers! Deschutes Brewery has fresh hops available for the first 30 homebrewers RIGHT NOW (noon on Tuesday the 10th!) to come in to the Brewery tasting room. Here’s their Facebook post:

The Fresh Crystal Hops are here for HOP TRIP! After harvesting them from the vine this morning, they are ready to add to the kettle right now! If you are a homebrewer in Bend, stop by our tasting room today for a free bag of these aromatic beauties. 30 bags available.

From past experience I think these are about 3 pounds of fresh hops per bag which you can use to brew your own fresh hop beer (here’s a clone recipe for Hop Trip from Deschutes) or dry them to get about 9 or 10 ounces of dried hops to use for later.

It’s a great deal, but they will go fast! So don’t wait!
