I know the blog here has been a wasteland all week long, apparently this week-long event planning is way more intensive and involved than I thought! Overall this has been a great (if super busy) Central Oregon Beer Week, trying to get everything fit in between my day job, running around planning and meeting, and attending as many events as possible, but I am amazed and really happy at how well everything has turned out.

Today is the next-to-last day of the Beer Week but it’s one of the biggest: Sunriver Resort (the title sponsor) is holding their first-ever Brewfest, celebrating the opening of their new Beer Garden behind the Lodge, the big Grande Finale party for the Week, and that kicks off at 4pm today. There will be live music with The Radical Revolution (a Portland-based 80s cover band, which should be fun), beer from local breweries (of course!), 4th of July BBQ-style food, lawn games for families and children (yes, this is a family-friendly event, which we couldn’t say the same of some of the other events), and we’ll be raffling off some great prizes for Beer Week.

And it’s free to attend! No entry fee or anything, just come and have a good time! (Of course, bring money for food and beer and raffle tickets!) We still have a few COBW T-shirts and glassware we’ll have on hand if you want to buy some of those, too.

Come on out—the fun starts at 4 and ends at 9 and I think it’s going to a really good time!
