When I was downtown yesterday I saw a banner on the Blacksmith building, stating that they are closed for renovations. Tonight I checked their website and found the following post on their blog:

We are excited to announce, that as of Friday February 1, 2013, The Blacksmith is under NEW OWNERSHIP! We will be closed for the month of February to revamp and renovate. We want to bring this Bend staple back to it’s original greatness with amazing food, drinks and service! We look forward to serving you in March!

Anyone know anything about the new owner? Does this mean that Gavin McMichael is completely out of the restaurant biz in Bend?
