Annual Christmas Kayak
If you didn’t get enough parade time yet this year, there’s one more coming up this Friday, December 7. And even if you don’t like parades this might be something to check out anyways.
There will be a night-time parade of kayaks in the Deschutes River, through the Old Mill District. The parade will float between the Columbia Bridge (near Red Robin) and Tumalo Creek from 4:15-6:00 p.m. Kayaks will be decorated with lights, and will assemble in formation at the Old Mill District “flag bridge” at some point.
If you are a paddler and wish to participate, please meet the group in the Tumalo Creek parking lot at 3:30 p.m. with your decorated kayak (canoes are welcome too).
More information on the Tumalo Creek website.
