Here’s a nice way to support local schools, via KTVZ.com…

On Friday, Dec. 7, Central Oregon Dutch Bros. stands will be donating $1 from every drink sold to area school districts.

Proceeds will be allocated based on the districts where stands are located:

• Five stands located in Bend will donate to Bend-LaPine School District.
• Two stands located in Redmond will donate to Redmond School District.
• The one stand located in Sisters will donate to Sisters School District.

“We want to touch as many kids’ lives as possible,” say Dutch Bros. Central Oregon
owners Bill and Carol Smith. “Schools are struggling, and we want our kids to have the educational opportunities they deserve.”

Funds raised will specifically go toward fulfilling academic needs, such as updating
books, supplies and computers.
