This Saturday the 18th, the Des Chutes Historical Museum (I always have a hard time writing it out “Des Chutes” instead of “Deschutes” but that’s how they officially spell it) will be holding their annual garage/rummage sale on their lawn from 9am to 4pm. From the press release:

The annual fundraiser, held by volunteers each year, benefits Museum operations, including collections care, programming and new exhibits.

Volunteers have been hard at work getting great items together for the sale, including antiques and a variety of collectibles, books, glassware, kitchen ware, knick knacks, furniture, you name it—we’ve got it!

If you have items to donate to the sale, would like to volunteer for a few hours, or have questions please call the Des Chutes Historical Museum at 541.389.1813 or email info@deschuteshistory.org.

It’s for a good cause (helping to keep the Museum operating) so swing down there if you get a chance.
