I cannot believe that I almost missed this: the Sisters Wine & Brew Festival starts today! It runs today from 3 to 9pm and Saturday all day, 11am to 8pm in the Village Green in the heart of Sisters.

The Sisters Wine & Brew Festival celebrates wonderful wines and brews of the Pacific Northwest. The day will also include live music, wine and beer pairing classes, cooking demos, art vendors, and fantastic food. All against the backdrop of Sisters, Oregon. This western town features fabulous scenery, accommodations, retail and restaurants.

Entrance to the Fest is free, and you can buy tasting tokens at the festival or online via their PayPal form here; tokens are $1 each (though the online package is 10 for $10).

There’s going to be live music, a ton of food and general vendors, and a good number of wineries along with five breweries and a cidery plus both Bend Distillery and Bull Run Distillery on hand.

And it’s going to be a beautiful weekend for it too! In the low 80s forecasted for tomorrow, which should be just about perfect. The only drawback might be parking—there are no real “lots” around the park that I remember—but even then you’ll really only have to walk a few blocks at most.
