It bears mentioning that the Deschutes County Fair is currently in full swing: it’s the 92nd year of the Fair (held in Redmond out near the airport) and is running from the 3rd (yesterday) until the 7th (Sunday). Full Fair amenities apply: carny rides, junky food, and the livestock and craft displays abound (my favorite parts).

And this year we’re seeing concerts that seem to be furthering the trend of Central Oregon hosting the… classic… bands: REO Speedwagon is playing Friday night, and Joan Jett and the Blackhearts is on Saturday.

So, who’s been so far, and who’s going? Thoughts? We’ll probably be out there Saturday to take it all in.
