Central Oregon School of Ballet presents its summer performance next weekend, July 23rd and 24th in the auditorium at Bend High School. This year they are performing Giselle, described as follows:

“The ballet ‘Giselle’ is a full-length ballet in two acts, first presented in Paris, France in 1841. Its wonderful music is adapted by Adolphe Adam. It takes place in an old European village and tells the tale of a young village maiden who falls, tragically, in love.”

Tickets are on sale at the ballet school (located at 1155 Southwest Division Street) Monday – Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. or can be purchased at the door on the days of performance. Saturday’s performance will be at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday’s is at 3:00 p.m.
