Where did May go? Suddenly it’s time for the First Friday tonight, the start of this first weekend in June. (I only wish the weather was warmer! Though the current forecast has it being 66 and getting warmer tomorrow…)

Both Downtown Bend and The Old Mill District will be hosting the usual First Friday scene: art galleries open late with special displays (along with other non-gallery shops that will also feature art installations to view), and many will offer free refreshments, wine, and live music.

Festivities run from 5 until 9pm, and if you want to go back and forth between Downtown and the Old Mill, remember the Old Mill has a shuttle:

Take the Free Artwalk Shuttle offering a continuous loop approximately every 50-60 minutes.  Service from 5-9pm.  Station 3 is located in the Old Mill District between Lahaina Galleries and REI and picks up at 5:40pm+/- and heads to Atelier 6000 and then downtown.
