The Bend Farmers Market is starting up again this year beginning Wednesday, June 1st, at its usual spot at the top of Drake Park next to the Mirror Pond parking lot. I know the weather doesn’t seem quite right for it, but there’s bound to be something that grew somewhere in the state, right?

Of course, the Farmers Market isn’t all just produce: there are meats, cheeses, baked goods, and other hand-crafted or artisan items for sale also. It’s definitely worth getting down there early if you can swing it.

The Drake Park Market will run every Wednesday from 3 to 7pm until October 12th; the Friday Market at St. Charles Medical Center runs from 2 to 6pm from the 3rd until September 23rd, every Friday.
