NW Crossing Hullabaloo with Marc Cohn
A press release showed up in my inbox today promoting next month’s NorthWest Crossing Hullabaloo, their fourth annual summer street festival, with the headlining music coming from Marc Cohn. Cohn is best known for his 20-year-old “Walking in Memphis” (which I like but in fact it’s the only song of his I know). Opening for him will be Franchot Tone and MOsley WOtta.
The Hullabaloo itself looks like it could be fun, taking place on Friday, June 24th from 4 until 9pm. A paragraph from the press release says:
The uproarious street festival, which is in its fourth year, regularly features bike races (including a kid’s crit), live music, street performers and family activities. The next day, June 25th, is the kick off of the popular NorthWest Crossing Farmer’s Market, which will run every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. through the end of September.
That looks to be the start of a busy weekend, as the Bite of Bend follows on the 25th and 26th.
