Last month was the first public game night at the East Bend Public Library and it was considered a surprising success with 40-45 game players showing up to display their game-winning skills.

This month’s event will take place this Saturday, May 14th from 6:00 p.m. to midnight. (Following events will be the second Saturday of the month.) The flyer I was sent promises to have everything from Scrabble and Chess to Settlers of Catan to card and party games. Sounds like something for everyone, but you can also bring your own if you like. This is an all-ages event so bring your family, a friend or just yourself and play the night away.
