My wife found this ad on craigslist pointing to a new restaurant downtown (also note if you’re looking for a job):

Boken is a new restaurant and bar opening in the Breezeway downtown Bend. We are an Asian inspired “Izakaya” style restaurant. We are hiring for all positions, including: Sous Chef, experienced line cooks, prep cooks, dishwashers, experienced bartenders and servers, bussers, and hosts.
applicants must have flexible schedule, be available for late evening shifts and have valid food handlers card and servers permit. (FOH positions)

please bring your resume to Kanpai, 990 NW Newport Ave. between 10am -2pm on January 10th & 11th.

This would be the former Downtowner location in the Breezeway—the west end, next door to the Mad Happy Lounge (itself the former Bendistillery martini bar).

Update/correction(?): I presume it’s the former Downtowner location, which is also the (former?) Lola’s location—the only restaurant location in the actual Breezeway that I’m aware of…
