This Saturday, the 23rd, Deschutes Brewery is having their annual Fresh Hop Beer Tasting up at the Mountain Room on Simpson. They plan on have five fresh hop beers on tap:

• Fresh and Sweet with Cascade hops
• Fresh Hop Lager made with Perle hops
• Fresh Hop Ale made with Nuggets
• King Cone made with Centennials
• Fresh Hop Mirror Pond Pale Ale

And they will pair these beers with a number of special dishes:

• Herb-Roasted Pork Loin with Pear Chutney
• Yam Bisque with Seeded Rye and Muenster Grilled Cheese
• Creamy Pumpkin Seed Pesto Pasta with Roasted Chicken
• Sweet Corn and Crab Fritters
• Super Secret Special Surprise Dessert

It starts at 6pm and cost is $40 per person. Reservations are required; details on making reservations are at the link.
