Sisters Fresh Hop Festival
Coming up this Saturday, September 25th, is the Sisters Fresh Hop Festival: the first of the fresh hop beer “tastivals” making the rounds across the state. It’s taking place under the tent at Village Green Park from noon until 9pm.
Check out the latest from the Pacific Northwest breweries. Hops are picked and brewed the same day. Admission is $5 for a mug and $1 for each 4 oz. taste. Food court, live music all day, vendors and the best brew in the west. Sponsored by Sisters Area Chamber of Commerce.
I spoke with Erin Borla of the Sisters Chamber of Commerce and received these further details:
Breweries attending:
- Boneyard Beer
- Cascade Lakes Brewing Company
- Deschutes Brewery
- Fort George Brewing
- Hopworks Urban Brewery
- Lucky Lab Brewing
- Ninkasi
- Old Lompoc
- Rock Bottom Brewing Company
- Three Creeks Brewing Company
And the live music lineup is as follows:
- 12:00-1:15 Back From the Dead
- 1:30-2:45 Box Car String Band
- 3:00-4:15 Annie Vergnetti
- 4:30-6:45 Anastacia
- 7:00- 9:00 Greg Botsford & Friends
The event will be family-friendly and the food court will feature beer-alternative soft drinks. However, it’s a beer festival, so there won’t be any wine available—just the fresh hop beers.
Finally!! A list of breweries attending the festival. Good work–I hadn’t been able to find this information in local papers/other websites.
