Bendistillery has been around for quite a while now, so it might seem weird to have a Grand Opening—however, this is actually the opening of their new distillery and farm just out past Tumalo, this Saturday the 18th:

We are finally ready to unveil the new distillery, tasting room and farm this Saturday, Sept. 18 from noon to 6pm. We will be offering sampling, tours and a series of cyclecross races on the property. Join us at 19330 Pinehurst Rd. Bend, OR 97701. Minors welcome with adult.

As I understand it, they are also growing their own grain on the farm from which they brew and distill their spirits—which makes them a fairly self-sustainable organization. (Though I don’t know details on whether/if they also supplement with purchased grain.)

The poster image on their Facebook page (small squinty image!) indicates live music as well.
