The Hack Bend Free Summer Activity Guide is now published and just in time for summer! It’s basically an amalgamation of past years’ guides, and if there is something missing from it—or you find any errors or corrections—let me know and I’ll get it updated (with credit). Obviously I myself … Continue reading
Just a heads-up to let you all know the annual Free Summer Activity Guide should be posted soon.

Otherwise, BoB has things going on all weekend down at the Les Schwab … Continue reading
It’s been awhile since I blogged about Riverside Market, down in Bend’s “old town” part of downtown. Back then (2007) they didn’t have a web presence, but they do now: both a website and a Facebook page. Which is to be expected, I guess. Especially the Facebook page.

Northwest Community Balloons Over Bend kicks off on Friday, June 4th with a media flight at sunrise from Les Schwab Amphitheater. During the media flight, … Continue reading
I closed the comments on the previous Jason Evers post because it was getting ridiculous with a lot of unproductive comments and proto-flaming. However, with the latest news reports coming out about “Jason Evers”—now identified as “Doitchin Krasev”—it’s too interesting not to blog about. So, don’t get too crazy in … Continue reading
