Monitoring the Pacific Northwest Pika Populations @ McMenamins

September 13, 2016 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Free

High Desert Museum Natural History Pub

The American pika faces major threats from climate change and habitat loss. Please join Dr. Matt Schinderman, senior instructor of natural resources at OSU-Cascades, for a discussion of an exciting new monitoring and research program that aims to expand our understanding of this remarkable animal.

Join us for beer and history, sponsored by the the High Desert Museum, Des Chutes Historical Museum, the Oregon Encyclopedia, and McMenamins, in which you’ll hear lively local and regional history while you enjoy a frosty pint or two of handcrafted ale. Food and beverage sales in Father Luke’s Room help support this popular lecture series.
