Come down to meet Steve Anderson, Owner Operator of Kobold Brewing/The Vault Taphouse, joined by his fantastic lineup of brews here at The Growler Guys.

For those of you who don’t know, Steve found himself in the homebrewing scene after working 26 years as an Air Traffic Controller. He soon realized he had a gift in brewing great, drinkable homebrew which inspired Steve to build a two barrel nano-brewery on his property in Bend that led to the beginning of Kobold Brewing in 2015.

Not too long after, Steve and his wife, Heather, purchased a space in Redmond and opened The Vault Taphouse which created a great place for customers to get their lips on Kobold’s brews year round. Growing from its humble beginning of selling one keg at a time, Kobold has recently grown into a new brewhouse with a 10 barrel system with plenty more fantastic brews in the works!
