March 21, 2020 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
$50Fundraising Dinner
Madzi! That’s the word for water in Malawi, Africa. From Oregon to Malawi, we are connected by water. Join us for this fully-hosted community gathering to hear inspiring stories, mingle with National Geographic contributor Chad Copeland, and enjoy Clean Madzi Lager, a special beer created just for this occasion.
On this World Water Day, be the change you want to see. With the purchase of your ticket, you will help provide water wells and sanitation projects in Malawi and support Deschutes River projects locally.
Some more details on this event:
_______________________________________
In collaboration with BrewGooder, Deschutes Brewery and the Coalition for the Deschutes, Central Oregon is taking the initiative to join the global gathering campaign to use the power of craft beer to bring clean drinking water to 100,000 people in developing countries and raising awareness about our precious commodity here at home, the Deschutes River.
The Deschutes Brewery will be brewing a special “clean water” beer that will be sold in their breweries. Every pint of beer created for the Global Gathering will support and accelerate BrewGooder’s numerous projects in Malawi, which include well rehabilitations, new borehole construction, sanitation systems and water mapping to ensure the long-term sustainability of well constructions. The foundation has already supported over 132 clean water projects and positively impacted 64,478 lives and counting. Proceeds from the beer will be split between local water initiatives and the global water initiative.
In partnership with Deschutes Brewery and Brewgooder.
