Flat 5 Flim Flam is a 5 piece modern acoustic swing band. They bounce and jive like it’s 1940. The rhythm section of the band is dominated by strong manouche style guitar strumming, thumping upright bass, horns, and accordion. Each individual player adds to the complex web of improvisation and inter-harmony. Horns and guitars trade solos while the vocals of the bands front men “Maestro and the Captain” engage the audience with clever lyricism.
