BEER’DUCATION—Battle of the Kilts @ Crux Fermentation Project

May 9, 2016 @ 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm

BERT SCOTCH ALE | 8.5 ABV, 40 IBU
This scotch ale is malty and full-bodied with the hop bitterness being pretty high. A slight caramel flavor plays well with the fruity esters that are at a medium aromatic and flavor level. The hop profile definitely comes through in this tribute to Bert Grant, a true pioneer in the craft beer movement

VS.

PEATED SCOTCH ALE | 8.5 ABV, 40 IBU
Our Scotch ale is malty and full bodied with the perception of hop bitterness being very low. A slight caramel flavor plays well with the fruity esters that are at a medium aromatic and flavor level. Peat character is present at a high level.

Join us in exploring the wonderful nuances and breadth of craft beer every Monday evening in our Tasting Room. Our BEER’DUCATION SERIES of beer menu specials are designed to stimulate greater appreciation and understanding of craft beer through the self-guided experience of comparing and contrasting variations in styles and brewing processes. Each Monday evening, a different Crux beer will be highlighted via a special beer menu offering that includes a tasting guide to help you make the most of your experience.
