China Sun Buffet is closed, at least for now. On their website is the message about it:

WE ARE IN THE PROCESS OF RELOCATING DUE TO LOSS OF LEASE. CURRENTLY WE STILL HAVE NOT FOUND ANY SUITABLE LOCATION YET.

They’re refunding gift certificates, so it’s up in the air whether they’ll re-open anytime soon.

The Bulletin ran an article about the Oxford Suites hotel on Monday, including their new restaurant, 10 Below: so named because it’s located below ground level. It seats "about 75" and they’re open now, I believe; a copy of their menu (faxed to us) showed reasonably-priced dishes with a wide variety of cuisine styles (Asian, Italian, Middle Eastern, American, and more).

And BOR over on Bend Oregon Restaurants has a review of 5 Spice, the new sushi restaurant that took over the former Deep space. BOR gives it good marks for being delicious, well-paced, and reasonably priced.
