According to the Bulletin, the new Subway should have opened this morning downtown. In light of the various restaurant closings lately, this is refreshing news. It’s also good news for downtown Bend in general, I think; it adds variation and another affordable place to eat that downtown needs.

The article notes that it’s "sharing a space with Sisters Coffee Co. cafe", which likely will help them out in the mornings as well.

The address is 939 N.W. Bond St., and they’ll be open seven days a week from 6am until 10pm.
