My friend Shannon (who also occasionally writes up blog posts here) has been helping to implement some good things at Crossings, the Riverhouse‘s restaurant lately including a big focus on their local beer presence—they’re one of the only places in town (if not the only place) to have all local brews on tap (no macros!), for instance.

And coming up in the next week and half or so this month they’ve got some things going on you might want to check out:

• This Tuesday the 23rd, if the weather cooperates, their riverside deck will open up (literally right on the River)
• Friday the 26th, they have a free wine tasting, featuring the wines of Prestige Wine Group
• Saturday the 27th, free beer tasting featuring Bend Brewing Company from 6 to 8pm

I should note that the free tastings are monthly events.
