The poker fundraiser event I wrote about last month for two of Deschutes Brewery’s employees (both diagnosed with cancer) had been postponed and tonight is the new night. A refresher:

Two employees from our Deschutes Brewery Family have been diagnosed with Cancer. In order to help Chris [Steavens] and Misael [Molina], we are having a Texas Hold ‘Em Tournament Fundraiser & Silent Auction. All proceeds will go towards Chris and Misael’s growing medical expenses.

Buy-in is $50 and includes dinner, (3) beer tokens, & (2) raffle tickets. Also, there will be sweet Deschutes Brewery swag raffled throughout the night!

Tickets are pre-purchasable here, though it looks like the main $50 buy-in tickets are sold out—however, you can still participate for $25 which gets you dinner and two pints (though no poker).

Prizes have been changed as well. First place now wins a stand-up paddleboard ($800 value), a case of beer every month for a year is second place, and third place wins $100 cash.
