First Friday! On the nicest day of the year so far
It’s the First Friday Art Walk downtown tonight from 5 to 9pm—and could today’s weather be any nicer? In addition to the usual array of businesses and galleries open with special exhibits, free refreshments and wine, and (often) live music, “This month in honor of the MUSE Conference twelve businesses will be featuring artists with themes related to the event.” And Downtown Bend’s list of participants is here.
And look for other first Friday events around town as well:
- Broken Top Bottle Shop has their First Firkin Friday today starting at 4:30, featuring a firkin keg of S1nist0r Black Ale donated by 10 Barrel Brewing, live music, and a raffle, and the proceeds will be donated to Mt. Bachelor National Ski Patrol.
- Worthy Brewing has their own Firkin Friday kicking off at 4pm, with $3 firkin pints until it’s blown: “Today’s is Worthy IPA with Centennial and Citra hops and blood orange juice.”
- Crow’s Feet Commons has their fourth Après Ski Bash tonight from 6 to 9pm, featuring live music with Hong Kong Banana and beer from Deschutes Brewery.
