There is a brand-new liquor store on the north end of town that just opened: Trailhead Liquor. It’s located in the new Robal Plaza on North Highway 97, the new strip-mall complex being built out across from Target. In fact they are so new that this weekend, September 1 and 2, is the grand opening.

We stopped in briefly last night and were impressed. It’s a brightly-lit, large space, with a large selection that you can tell had some thought put into it. The store also stocks beer and cider, and from what I saw offered up a good range of options.

I believe with Trailhead’s opening that now makes six liquor stores in Bend (counting the liquor store “nook” inside of Newport Avenue Market). It seems like a good addition to the north end of town although I wonder how easy it will be to get in and out of the Robal Plaza area during peak traffic hours.

Worth checking out, and if you stop in this weekend you might even win some swag and prizes.
