BEER’DUCATION – Snow Cave Winter Warmer Ale + Food Pairing @ Crux Fermentation Project

Join us in exploring the wonderful nuances and breadth of craft beer every Monday evening in our Tasting Room. Our BEER’DUCATION SERIES of beer menu specials are designed to stimulate greater appreciation and understanding of craft beer through the self-guided experience of comparing and contrasting variations in styles and brewing processes. Each Monday evening, a different Crux beer will be highlighted via a special beer menu offering that includes a tasting guide to help you make the most of your experience.

SNOW CAVE + FOOD PAIRING
Snow Cave, our full-bodied winter warmer, balances malty sweetness with hints of clove and banana esters to produce well-rounded flavor and aromatic notes. Then we step it up a notch by aging it in our “snow cave” out back to achieve even greater complexity and clarification. We’ll be pairing Snow Cave with two different food items on opposite sides of the flavor spectrum: for sweet— our special house-made Crème “Brew”lee, and, for savory— our “White Gold” Oud Bruin ale braised endive with dates and Gruyere wrapped in prosciutto. Your experience of Snow Cave will shift in surprising ways as you migrate between the two pairings.
