Hotheads and capsaicin lovers take note—over in Sisters this weekend, Three Creeks Brewing is holding their 4th annual Chile Fest, a benefit for the American Cancer Society which is celebrating spicy food and beer.

Chile Fest started last night (Friday) with a chili cookoff and the release of a special Chile Beer from Three Creeks (sure to be on tap all weekend for the daring). And today and tomorrow they have more events lined up; from the email newsletter:

HABANERO WING EATING CONTEST
Sat., Sep 19 – 6:30pm in pub
This is hot stuff, seriously HOT, and should only be embarked upon if you are nuts!!! Two time defending champ “Fire Eating Rad” returns to defend his title. Can you knock him off? There are only a few seats left at the table, are you up for it? Must be 21 and over. Call or stop by the pub to sign-up. No charge, donations to ASC gratefully welcomed.

CHILE TOSS TOURNEY
Sun., Sep 20 – 3pm on patio
Now this is some fun for the entire family. It you like playing cornhole or bean bag toss this is the tourney for you. We are switching it up a little and tossing chiles! Yes, we said chiles! This is your chance to win some great TCBC gear while helping an important cause. Open to all ages. Call or stop by the pub to sign up. No charge. Donations to ASC gratefully welcomed.
