The Bend Brewfest returns this week for 4 days
The annual Bend Brewfest returns to the Les Schwab Amphitheater this week, adding a fourth day to the schedule for the first time: it starts Thursday, August 13th, and runs through Sunday, the 16th.
The first three days the hours are noon to 11pm, and Sunday is from noon to 8pm. Minors are allowed until 7pm after which it becomes 21-and-over only. And note this year, there will be no pets allowed (in past years they have allowed dogs).
There are 71 listed breweries, ciders, meaderies, and wineries pouring libations this weekend, with something like 170+ different drinks being poured between the regular taps and XTap! And speaking of that XTap—it’s a special station reserved for a rotating schedule of limited, specialty beers, and many will also have the brewers themselves on hand to talk about them. I wrote a guest blog post for The Old Mill’s website about it, go check it out to find out more!
Here’s the Fest pricing info:
A one-time purchase of a souvenir mug is required for tasting. Mugs are $15 and include 5 tasting tokens. Mugs from previous years will not be filled. Tasting tokens are required for beer purchase and cost $1 per (sold in packets of five). 1 token equals a four ounce taste.
What they don’t mention is four tokens will get you a full pour. There will be food vendors of course as well.
It’s going to be a great weekend for the Brewfest, so make sure to come on down and have a great time!
