Bend’s latest distillery, BackDrop Distilling, is kicking off with a splash with their “launch shindig” tonight at GoodLife Brewing from 6 to 9pm. Why GoodLife? Simple—they are located inside GoodLife! They have a specially-sectioned off area towards the front of the brewery (just outside of the Bierhall/tasting room), and part of the relationship with the brewery includes GoodLife producing mash (fermentable malt syrup, basically) that BackDrop ferments and distills for whiskey.
