Deschutes Historical Annual Chili Feed
Today from 10am until 4pm the Des Chutes Historical Museum is holding their Annual Chili Feed and Holiday Bazaar Fundraiser—an event that’s been going on every year for over 30 years(!). The chili feed itself runs from 11 until 2:30, provided by Millie’s Chili, and vendors will be on hand selling terrific gifts for the holidays—and I will be there myself from 10 to 1, with copies of my book Bend Beer available.
Here’s the full blurb from the Museum’s website:
Have a bowl of Millie’s Chili and polish it off with a piece of pie, then stop by the Bake Sale for second dessert later on. Local craft and arts vendors will get your holiday shopping started, our raffle offers chances for great prizes and staycation getaways, and our book store offers local history and historical photographs for sale.
Bazaar hours are 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Raffle winners will be drawn following close of event on Saturday.
And they have a Facebook event page as well here, with some additional details on the vendors that will be there:
Special guest booth from the Fjeldheim Lodge :: Sons of Norway #2-47 and Polly’s Treasures collectibles sale. Our great vendors include Nomad Leather, Grandma’s Booty Vintage Jewelry, SLAVE, Robert Graydon Pottery, Rik’s Rubs, Rustic Images, Mailekai Creations, and more.
See you there!
