Beery anniversary weekend
Three of our breweries are celebrating anniversaries this weekend! That means you’ve got a lot of drinking to do, starting today!
Deschutes Brewery is celebrating their 26th anniversary all day long today started at 11am when they open. Featuring “samples of Black Butte XXVI, decadent food specials featuring this new anniversary brew, the release of the newest Bond Street Series Beer, Foray Belgian Style IPA” and they also have their newest collaboration beer, Conflux #3 Doppel Dinkel Bock, on tap as well. Starting at 5pm the party in the back alley kicks off with live music by Eleven Eyes along with what they’re calling “retro pricing” (meaning, great deals on beer!) and probably other fun and games (one year they had a spin-the-wheel for something). Be there!
Saturday, Crux Fermentation Project is celebrating their second anniversary with their CRUXAPALOOZA III festival all day long: “Come out and join Crux Fermentation Project for our 2nd Anniversary Festival! It’s FREE, ALL AGES and music will run from 11:30am to 10:30pm. All performances will be on a special outdoor festival stage which features one of the best sound systems in the region.” There will be some special beers available (of course!) and here’s the music lineup:
- Polyrhythmics
- World’s Finest
- Elektrapod
- Wilderness
And also on Saturday, GoodLife Brewing is celebrating their third anniversary from 4 to 10pm, featuring “VIP all-inclusive industry access” which from what I can tell, means they are open to the public and if you’re a VIP you’ll get perks, otherwise (I think) you buy beer and food as you normally would. There will be catered BBQ from Rockin’ Dave’s, live music from The Eric Tollefson Band, and a special anniversary beer release.
