NW Crossing Bend Spring Festival
I wish I’d blogged about this sooner, as we’re in the middle of it now! This weekend (from today, the 13th, through Sunday the 15) the Bend Spring Festival is taking place over in Northwest Crossing, the free seasonal festival to usher in the spring that offers “art, food, spirits, music, and family-oriented activities.”
Tonight (Friday) they had their Art & Wine Bop, and the rest of the weekend is filled with art, live music (headlined by Chris Barron of the Spin Doctors on their main stage), a street chalk art competition, a family fun area, and of course food and drink (wine and beer).
On Saturday and Sunday the Festival starts at 11am and lasts until 10pm and 4pm, respectively. And there are street closures, of course: “Northwest Crossing Drive from Mt. Washington to John Fremont St. Ft. Clatsop St. north and south blocks. These streets will be closed from 11 p.m. Friday, the 13th to Monday, April 16th at 2 a.m.”
Makes for a fun weekend! And the current weather forecast shows mid-50s and sunny(ish) for the weekend, which (considering the rain we just had) should actually feel like a spring weekend!
I added your calender to my Google Calender. I can’t believe I forgot all about this. It’s already 1.10pm. 🙁 What happened to doggy on your banner?
I’m mixing it up on the headers, to keep things fresh. 🙂
