This Saturday, July 18th, is the 21st annual Saving Grace Children’s Festival (also called the Cascade Children’s Festival) down in Drake Park. The Festival is presented by Saving Grace (formerly COBRA), with proceeds going to benefit the organization.

The Festival will take place from 10am until 4pm and looks to be a great time for kids; there’s a good description of what to expect from True North (though it’s for last year’s Festival—I don’t imagine things have changed much). Lots of activities, games, and music. Tickets will be sold for activities at 50 cents apiece, though attending the Festival itself is free.

I know from friends that their kids have loved past Festivals, so it sounds like a sure bet if you’re looking for something to do with the kids this weekend. Weather should be perfect too—84 degrees is forecast at this writing.
