The annual Bend Christmas Parade is this Saturday, the 6th. Already! This is one of my favorite local events, even better than the Pet Parade (which I like too).

The Parade goes through Downtown Bend, starting west of the Newport Bridge on Harmon and Newport, and ending just across the Galveston bridge. It starts at noon, but you always want to get there a bit early to get a good spot to watch.

Saturday’s weather is looking to be warm again, 52 degrees. If so that’ll be the warmest parade day I can remember.
